JOHNATHON B. MacMITCHELL

Who the Hell am I?

NAME: John Mitchell (that's what they call me at the Institute)

Birth Place: Clydebank, Scotland (Banished)

SEX: Male Caucasian ( I think)

AGE: Have reached Old Fart Status

OCCUPATION: Undecided (untrainable)

ADDRESS: No fixed address (Can't pay the Rent on time, due to heavy investments in the Local brewery)

SUMMARY:
I've been playing in the Ontario Grade 1 Pipe Band Circuit for about 30 years.  I was fortunate enough to be started by a player that knew what the hell he was doing. Mr. Eddy MacIntyre.was a Scot, that came from the Boys Brigade Fame

I had many Teachers over the years, but the only formal lessons that I have received were from Ed Neigh, and Jim MacGillivray. ( Lucky them)LOL

Also I Spent many summers at the Brockville School of piping, under the Direction of the Late Seamus MacNeil.

I have learned many tips and tricks from all the PM's over the years ,and hopefully I can pass them on to anyone that will listen.

I don't claim to be the all knowing expert, but I do know enough to do some damage to the enemy (78th Frasers).LOL

Solo Career

This Section is short as my main focus was always on Bands. Did the Traditional Solo Routine that every young player in Ontario goes thru,.
I Started at the age of 10, entered in grade 3 a year later, and by age Seventeen, I had entered the Open Class.

But like many, never persuade it long enough, as College Life took precedence. (Partying)
