Soprano/Voice Actress Jennifer Bischak has won several awards for voice including the National Association of Teachers of Singing Tri-State and Regional Competitions, The Edinboro Music Departmental Award, The Mary S. Rosson Scholarship for Vocal Performance, Slippery Rock Madrigal Dinner Scholarship, and the Esther Alice Estock Award for Music.  Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music with Pennsylvania Certification in Music Education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, and continued study under Mimi Lerner at Carnegie Mellon University.

Jennifer has performed leading and supporting roles in over 35 Operatic and Musical Theatre productions (see
resume).  In the Summer of 1999, Jennifer performed the role of Tisbe in Rossini's La Cenerentola as a graduate student with Cincinnati Conservatory of Music's Opera Theatre of Lucca in Lucca, Italy under the direction of some of the opera world's top Stage Directors, Conductors, Teachers and Coaches (See Lucca Pages).  In addition, Jennifer performed at several very well respected venues including the Summer, 1999 Opera Barga Festival in Barga, Italy.

She has performed as a soloist with the Pennsylvania Collegiate Choir in addition to singing featured solos in concerts throughout Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic with the Edinboro University Singers.


Jennifer is collaborating with concert pianist Donna Amato on a recital which will feature selections by turn of the century composer Ethelbert Nevin as well as music composed by contemporary composer, Robert Roxby (photograph with composer on studio homepage.).  Jennifer continues to support and promote new music, and has premiered several works.  In February of 2000, she sang the premiere of Habib Azar's The Little Prince at Carnegie Mellon's brand new Purnell Center for the Arts Studio Theatre.

Additionally, Jennifer has often worked as a professional Voice Over Actress, most recently employed by the Pittsburgh based design company D-Baza as the Voice-Over talent for two interactive CD-Rom projects dealing with recently diagnosed diabetes and children.  The project includes over 9 hours of recorded voice and several different character roles, all performed by Ms. Bischak.

Jennifer works as an Executive Assistant to the Vice President and Account Coordinator for  Simon Marketing Incorporated in Century City, California (see
Administrative Resume) in the Account Management Group (responsible for interacting with a long list of high profile clients in the entertainment business as well as many leaders in retail sales). 

In addition to Jennifer's abilities in communications and the vocal arts, she has expert level skills  in the Microsoft Office products (including Excel, Access, Word, Publisher, Outlook/Exchange and PowerPoint) and types at a rate of 90 wpm.  Jennifer is currently working to establish a freelance business solutions company with partner Jack Sullivan that will be primarily focused on individualized promotions and work in desktop publishing, word processing, presentation development and graphic design.
