PURPOSE FOR WRITING

It seems to me that we have been satisfied with just creating animals like Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck to amuse children, instead of teaching children what these animals are really like. While I agree Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck do serve an important function in raising children, I also believe teaching children about God's creation can be amusing to the child also.

I have been involved with nature photography for many years and I hope through my pictures and my poetry I can help teach children the love for birds and other creatures that are all around us.
