General Opera Links

Aria Database   A great resource for operatic arias, organized by work, composer, etc. Includes original language texts, tessitura information, some sound clips, etc.
Gopera   A good general information site about opera.
Infoseek Opera Links   All of the links in the Infoseek Opera category.
Opera of America   A good site with information on American opera composers.
OperaGlass   A great site for links. Contains links on composers, specific operas, librettists, opera companies, singers, fans, etc. Lots of great links.

OperaWeb   Nice general information site with lots of links, opera curiosities and oddities, etc.
Operissimo   Another mostly link site. Seems to have mostly links to links to links.....
Pronouncing Opera

Pronouncing Opera Terms

Two GREAT pages from the Rhodes College History of Opera class. These pages have actual *.wav files to show you how to pronounce the names of composers, operas and opera terms. Great for a beginner (like me).
Public Domain Libretti   A great source of librettos in the original languages. Not too many translations, though.
Virtual Opera House   A nice general information site with opera information and links.
