The Xpert is a calculator for cloaking, bombing, packet damage, weapons damage (with respect to capacitors, deflectors, computers and jammers), fuel consumption, and planetary resources. It is insanely easy to use and includes tooltip help.
I had hoped to write a game utility called the Stars! Sleuth. Alas, it has been years now (August 2003) since I have even seen the box containing my programming tools, so it will likely not happen. Thanks to those who continue to find the Xpert useful.
