In 1974,Sivarajan started his
studies under the great Guru Chattannoor Kochu
Narayana Pillai.later in 1978 he joined in Kerala
Kalamandalam for higher studies in kathakali.here
he practised Kathakali under the great Gurus like
mankompu sivasankara Pillai and Kalamandalam Raja Sekharan. 
he gamed appreciation both within India
and abroad very soon.His efforts to communicate
kathakali for the western audience has received
world-wo\ide acceptance for him.At the same time
he is also a favourite in the local temple
festivals of Kerala.

Sivarajan is leading a 25 member Kathakali toupe
for full night programme and they are well
equipped for touring throughout the year for
performing Kathakali anywhere in thw world.
