Subject: The Devil Is always in the details...

OK, I hope I'm funny, but that's not the point.  What I'm getting at is that Ed G. has informed me that this particular show happens to coincide with the last day of the KSER Fall pledge drive.  The Madman always took great pride in the support his lsteners provided.  So here was my thought about what might be a way to really augment the tribute we're doing.  If you are a regular donor at KSER, perhaps you might consider making your pledge during the show. If you are not a regular contributor, (and I confess I haven't been since the show ended), joining me in making a one-time donation in the Madman's name would give us something concrete to show how much he meant to us.  Like I said, it's just a thought and it's much more important to me that you simply enjoy the show.  I hope you'll all be listening and I also hope to hear from all of you, pledge or not!!!

Thanks again for hanging in there!

So here they are!

The show will air on KSER 90.7 FM from 7AM to 9AM on Saturday, October 25.  It will also be available online at, so no one is out of range!  The name of the show is "The Academy Of Comedy" which is hosted by L-O-N-G time listener Ed Gasparini.  If the time sounds early to you, just stay up all night!   :-)

It has taken far too much time for me to act, but I have been invited to do a guest appearance on a KSER show to do a tribute show to the Madman. There will be more details following soon, but I'm pretty excited and I had to let it out. The scheduled date is on or about October 24. Stay tuned...

I don't know an exact date yet, but in June, Moskowitz will return to the airwaves Sunday nights from 8PM to 10PM on KSER 90.7 FM.  For the North Enders and Islanders, it means you'll be able to tune in on your radio box.  For others, I just checked and the station IS still streaming live.  A word of caution though.  The site indicates that an older version of Windows Media Player (Version 10) is the one that works best.  I just tried it and mine doesn't work.  I'm pretty sure settings can be adjusted, but I don't know how.  If any of you do, maybe you could post some help?

We're going to begin as "Return of the Moskowitz Show (hosted by Nathan Detroit)".  You all have inspired me.  Our first task on the air will be to get a name.  The listeners are going to come up with a list and choose it over the course of the first few weeks.  That's just the beginning!

Moskowitz always felt the audience was crucial to the success of the show, not just listening, but as participants.  I have plans to get you even more involved.  You talked me into giving this a shot, now Prepare yourselves!-LOL (Anyone else flash to the scene in Stripes where Harold Ramis starts pounding on Bill Murray for getting him into the army? Murray's response? "You NEEDED this")

Anyway, I'll give you the date as soon as I have it, but you have to be there, OK????

Moskowtzly yours,
Nathan Detroit
