Morning Market in Hakodate. I enjoy going to morning market as it is the ideal place to observe people from all walks of life. From the prices of these groceries I can tell the standard and cost of living throughout the country is evenly high (e.g. a cup of coffee in a small town doesn't really cheaper than in big cities). I am impressed by its cleanliness and tidiness and most amazingly it does not smell though they sell fishes like any Chinese markets. |
