Martin Dillon, lyric tenor, has performed solo concerts throughout the world. His concert repertoire includes the major French and German song cycles. Mr. Dillon has performed over 40 operatic roles and countless recitals in the US, Europe and Asia and maintains a busy recital schedule throughout the globe. His most recent concert tour of Turkey was funded by the United States Embassy and The Fulbright-Hayes Foundation.

    For his recital work, Mr. Dillon has received many international reviews: "In his German debut, Mr. Dillon presented himself as a world-class performer" (Munich's "Die Suddeutsche Zeitung") and "Kahns lush lyrical melodies are excellently suited to Martin Dillon's lyric and flexible voice" (Neue Musik Zeitung- Berlin)
    As an international performer and an American cultural ambassador, he has been invited by the US government and embassies of the Caribbean, European and Asian countries to perform at their American Associations. This past winter he returned to Adana, Ankara and Istanbul December 14, 2004-January 1, 2005 to perform solo concerts and spent a week conducting Opera Master Classes for vocal students from the Curkurova Conservatories in Adana/ Mersin and the Istanbul Conservatory of Music.
    May 10-18, 2005 in Rome/Naples/Salerno he sang trio opera programs, singing Act I complete of "Lucia di Lammermoor," (Edgardo) and Act II complete of "La Traviata," (Alfredo). The trio (Mr. Dillon, along with dramatic soprano Rebecca Broberg and baritone David Greiner) also added the first act trio from Verdis "Il Trovatore" as an encore for the delighted Italian audience. These concerts were presented by the Siegfried Wagner Society in Berlin.
    August 15-20, 2005 he will join the Vermont Chamber Music Festival to perform vocals in the chamber work of Robert Kahn's "Jungbrunnen" song cycle This concert will be broadcast on the Public Broadcast Station. For more information see: (www.centralvtchambermusicfest.org )
    March 15, 2006 he will open the 3rd International Music Festival in Adana, Turkey. This solo recital will be the only vocal recital in a week filled with great chamber musicians from around the world. He will take the program to Ankara, Balikesir, Bursa and Istanbul following the festival.

    Solo recordings of Mr. Dillon's appear on the One Soul Record label and are available at: (www.onesoulrecords.com) These recordings are dedicated to the work of Robert Kahn, a German-Jewish composer whose legacy was largely eradicated by the Nazi regime, and is being reintroduced to the 21st century by Mr. Dillon. Both world premieres, "Jungbrunnen" (Fountain of Youth) Volume I and "Der Liebe Macht" (The Power of Love) Volume II have received superior reviews from German and American press.     Future recording projects include Gabriel Faure's "La Bonne Chanson," and song cycles by Georges Hue and Jean Caplet. In 2004 a recording of Turkish songs and American musical theater will be released on the Kalan label in Istanbul. A "Walt Whitman" sampler featuring the poems of Whitman set to music by American composers is slated for Fall 2005.
