Reading music for young students
For any Suzuki teachers out there, at what level or what age do you
begin teaching your students to read music, and what proportion of time
would you have them work on reading vs using their ear?

music reading
I start them reading music when they can start to read books. I use Joanner Martin's I can Read Music. I don't go too quickly, a lesson every week or two, but I am picky!
