help!
pieces 2 play
hey everybody!
i am 15, and i
know i shouldn't really be in this board as im not a pro, but i need
some help. Recently, i was lucky enough to be selected to represent
my school and play solo (with piano accompanist) in a music
competition, the only problem being what to play! i am around the
elgar concerto standard, but i played that last year. i suppose i am
looking for a "miniature". another "slight" problem is that i will
have barely a month to learn it. i was thinking of playing Allegro
Appasionato (which i first looked at yesterday, AAGH!). would this
be a good piece to play? I would love it if anyone could suggest
some pieces (preferably on the faster side) that would make a big
impression.
