Organ music

Completed works for organ

Three Organ Works in the Baroque Style (1992)

This collection consists of a prelude and fugue in D minor, a fanfare and fugue in G Major, and a fugue in G minor.

Victimae Paschali Laudes (1993)

A choral prelude on the sequence hymn for Easter.

When in Our Music (1993)

A choral prelude on my own hymn tune.

Variations on "Adon Olam" (1994)

Variations on the hymn tune by Eliezer Gerovitch.

Hemiola Etude (1996)

This was a study in hemiola rhythms, with the organist sometimes playing three different time signatures at once.

Fugue in C Minor (1998)

This fugue has the distinction of being completed in the shortest time--I came up with the idea and wrote it down all in the morning of February 14, 1998.

Fugue in E minor (1998)

As the name indicates, a fugue in the key of E minor.

Five Toccatas (1998)

Five "interestingly named" toccatas.

French Overture (1998)

Overture in the French style; that is to say, with a slow, stately opening section followed by a quicker polyphonic section.

Fugue in C Major (2001)

Composed after I decided I had too many fugues in minor keys.

Organ works in progress

Veni Creator Spiritus (2001)

Choral prelude. Almost finished with this one.

Fugue in A minor (2002)

Not to be confused with the scrapped fugue in A minor listed below.  This one is a sort of neo-Baroque style.

Scrapped works for organ

Fugue in A minor (1980)

My first attempt at a genre for which I was totally unprepared.

Nun Komm der Heiden Heiland, (1982)

An organ fugue on a theme by J.S. Bach (from the cantata, "Schwingt Freudig Euch Empor").
