1. Spreading the news about SCD as something for everyone

We need to actively promote the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society - Toronto Association, and its activities. We must get the message out that Scottish Country Dancing is fun as well as good mental and physical exercise. It is a great way to meet people in a friendly social setting, and you do not have to be of Scottish ancestry, or bring a partner.

Recommendations:

1. Develop a Royal Scottish Country Dance Society - Toronto Association marketing strategy around a 21^st century image.

2. Identify groups of potential dancers (e.g. families, seniors) and target promotional materials towards them.

3. Develop specific strategies to demonstrate the fun and sociability of SCD for all ages.

4. As individuals, make specific efforts to introduce others to Scottish Country Dancing.

5. Investigate all possible areas of opportunity for distribution of promotional materials.
