This is a wonderful (and totally Lutyens) mixture of vernacular cottage architecture
on a large scale, with Edwardian comforts. A great winter Landmark, as the heating
is good (perhaps too good) and the hot water thunders out of the bath taps like
a river in full spate. There is even a shower - twice as big as any normal one
too! Some of the bedrooms are actually quite small and basic, but two are large.
The kitchen can be a crush if the house is full but there is an adjoining (slightly
bland) dining room. The garden is an attraction in its own right, and there
is a field too. Location is really peaceful (no hint of London except in the
high rent) and there are good walks from the door.
