32 St Mary's Lane
Reviews:
(Provided by Jill Shurin) - The town was large enough that we could get anything we needed without a
car and there were plenty of local sights and opportunities for wonderful
walks right from our front door. These things didn't really surprise us.
What did was the friendliness of the people of Tewkesbury. Everyone was
kind and helpful. The members of the Tewkesbury Walking Club even invited
us to join them for an evening walk on Bredon Hill and included us for
tea at a member's home afterward. This was one of the highlights of a
trip filled with memorable events.
Another pleasant surprise was 32 St. Mary's Lane itself. It was
comfortable, convenient and had enough historical significance to make it
interesting to us Yanks. It was furnished with everything we needed and
there was plenty of room for four of us. We even found the narrow winding
stairs charming. That surely brands us as hopelessly American.
