It was wild and windy on that little hill in February, and the rain down the chimney made fire lighting a challenge, but possible. It enjoys a solitary position off a quiet lane. Nice views, plenty of walking, and it must be noted, since this is north Wales, friendly locals. Maybe a better bet for summer - the great hall on a warm day must be wonderful. There's a bat resident in the hall, according to the log book, but we weren't lucky enough to meet it.
