Moris Aladjem

Moris Aladjem, born 1932, is a composer of the popular genre. He has held various music administrative positions in the Bulgarian government, as well as being an active saxophone, flute and clarinet player, and a prolific composer. His influence on the Bulgarian popular music writing is very substantial.

He is author of about 400 songs, some of them still very popular in Bulgaria, and more than 1000 instrumental arrangements of different styles, popular, jazz, folk-jazz, etc. He is a recipient of numerous awards and prizes for his music.
