Bentzion Eliezer

Bentsion Eliezer (1920 - 1993) was born in Sofia. He graduated from the State Academy of Music, where he studied composition with professors Hadjiev and Dimitrov and later had a long tenure as a music theory professor. He was conductor of the Pop Music orchestra at Sofia Radio (1955 -1960) and conductor of the orchestra of the State Satiric Theatre (1956 - 1958).

Among his works are Dobroudja Suite (1956), Fantasy for piano and pop symphony orchestra (1962), chamber and solo piano music, many solo and children’s songs, pop and scene music, folk song arrangements, etc.
