Professor Doctor Sheri Tadjer

Prof. Dr. Sherriy Max Tadjer is born in January 22d, 1944 in Bulgaria. He has a MD awarded in 1970 in Sofia Bulgaria (Sofia Medical Academy), a Docent degree (Assistant Professor), awarded in 1990 and a Professor in 2000. He has worked in the cities of Doupnitsa, and Sofia. Since 1984 his specialty is general surgery. He has served as a deputy director of the prestigious Pirogov hospital in Sofia, where he has been working since 1975. He is a republican consultant in the field of emergency surgery and also is an examining member of the board for general surgery for Bulgaria, a member of EATES, and other medical organizations.

Prof. Tadjer has specialized in the field of liver, gallbladder, and pancreatic surgery in the Czech Republic (Prague), in the Tenon hospital in Paris, in Bruselles (transplantation), and in Israel (Tel-Aviv).

He is an autor of more than 150 medical publications worldwide, including 2 monographies and some medical textbooks.
