I, Gregoriu
SUBTITLED: "ME, MYSELF AND I"
Brief
diary of Gregoriu V. Rosum
written in third role person by:

-
Gregoriu
loved his girlfriend, Ivanna, with all his mind.
She also was returning love that Gregor left in her heart.
There
was no mountain higher, no sea deeper than their love.
It grew and their union before God was becoming visible...
Thus
Gregoriu's life was bright as bright is the sky.
Yet after each bright weather comes the storm...

Silent
steps... It was a secret. A secret of midnight...
The fog was reflecting light gray in moonlight
for this night was the night of a full moon.
No
one must see where Gregoriu was going. No one!
Niether his love, he trusted most, his wife-to-be,
beautiful blonde Ivanna from the village.
Strangely,
his path was leading to the cemetery...
-

Ivanna
did not know her belowed had a meeting
with a mysterious woman he could not resist.
- Her
eyes were seducing green as an emerald green can be.
Her lips were dark red as red blood gives life to all living.
Her skin was cold white as white snow falls from the sky.
Her hair was long black as black ebony in the night can be.
Her
name was whispered in the night as Gregoriu was calling:
"Sarthiana, Sarthiana!"

Gregoriu thought he finally found love of his life,
yet he did not know, meeting with beautiful Sarthiana
meant his certain death for she was a vampire...
Thus - that night - he met the arrow of Nemesis.
Yet his life did not really ceased to be...
Even when her stone cold heart dried long ago,
Sarthiana loved him as much as Gregoriu loved her.
Yet, she could be returning his love forever, he could not...
Thus she granted Gregoriu an eternal life for eternal love...
As destruction of the last Master, Nosferatu, occured years ago,
Gregoriu, as the first vampire-to-be, inherited great powers of his.

Sarthiana and Gregoriu moved to the chateau of the Nosferatu.
Now both, undead, wander the shadows from dusk 'til dawn.
- Unlike
all the other vampires they cared about one another.
Thus
every night when alone, Gregoriu strayed in the valley...

-
A
place of fear in the night, this castle of Nosferatu holds
within the long forgotten cathedral two crypts, where
Sarthiana and Gregoriu rest when sun is high in the sky.
Once
per day, when the sun is set in late morning hour,
the cover of crypt is enlightened by powerful sun beam,
powerful enough to destroy a vampire, even Nosferatu.
Although Gregoriu does not know the danger threatening
his very afterlife, he coveres the crypt when he rests.

At
the second night of the full moon,
Gregoriu captured Ivanna, his former love.
He
did not really capture her, for she was
under the influence of his mind control
and
thus willingly accepted the invitation to the
romantic dinner at the chateau of Nosferatu.
Villagers
heard strange voices that night... Yet
they did not even think Ivanna was in danger.

At the cemetery where the rumours were rife
to be a place where young Gregoriu lost his life;
with one bite in neck yet with no mark of strife
people found dead Ivanna, Gregoriu's to-be-wife.
Someone lifted a small piece of paper,
listed with in dried blood written sonet:
(in Slovene)
Za kamenim gradom vrtnica cvetí,
barve mrtve, a she zhivega duhá;
pije zhivot iz zemljé - suhega dna,
s trnjem se brani, spomine mi budi.
Ko z roko grem, da vzel bi tvoj temni cvet,
me trn chrni zbode, da kaplja krvi
v chasu dihljaja se v solze spremeni,
ki nekoch napajale so najin svet.
Chrni cvet, bele solze in rdecha kri;
shest chevljev globoko rakev je siva,
zakaj pustila si Ivanna me ti?
v spominu plavolaska moja zhiva;
nekdaj - deklica s poljubom me budi,
zdaj pa pod zapushchenim gradom biva.
- At
that place, right out of the stone,
one lonely black rose now grows...
No
one knows where Sarthiana Gregoriu went after that incident,
niether do we as we engrave this epitaph in this tombstone.
Yet
it is said that both crypts lay open and empty in
the lonely halls of cathedral of chateau of Nosferatu...

I, Gregoriu,
from this day forth respect in blood red signed pact with
death.
Thus I will have to kill to live - to be:
alive, forever!
