The RL is the flagship of Acura. The RL is basically a mildly
re-engineered Legend (A previous model of Acura). The 3.5RL
is significantly larger, and gains a five percent increase in horsepower.
Maximum torque is now developed at 2800 rpm instead of the pervious 4500
rpm on the Legend - providing the immediate throttle response that North
Americans like. Though it's not a performance sedan, the 3.5RL has
high cornering limits and a superb ride.
