elcome to Catherine's Singing and Art History Page

Welcome to my page dedicated to singing and the study of classical voice! My name is Catherine Knutsson, and I am both a voice teacher and classical singer, specializing in early music repetoire. This site is intended to become a resource for my students at the Sidney Community Music School, as well for other singers.

I also hold a B.A. from the University of Victoria in History in Art, so this site will reflect some of my studies and interests in this area. Those people looking for Islamic and Medieval art may find some of my links useful.

Art History Resources and Bibliographies
Finding reliable art historical information on the Internet can be challenging. I've listed some of the on-line resources I've found helpful, as well as many of my own bibliographies here.

Mikel's Scottish page
This page is still under construction (I'm waiting for my husband to tell me what he wants to put on it!), but eventually will have links regarding the Canadian Scottish Regiment (Princess Mary's), piping, and Scottish history.

About us!
Again, this is still under construction, but if you want to know more about the creators of this site, here's where to look!
