| GENERAL STUFF |
 Meet Hotaru (Ho-ta-loo). This shy girl is Sailorsaturn (セーラーサターン). During S she was very thin and very pale, but after her rebirth in Stars, she was much more "healthy" looking. She went to Mugen Gauken High School, just like Haruka and Michiru, but wasn't in high school. Mugen Gauken is an all-ages high-rise school. Because people were afraid of her after seeing her ability to heal, she was very unfairly rejected and had no friends until Chibiusa. Her ability, though, is probably what made her decide she wanted to be a doctor when she grew up. Hotaru became Mistress Nine after she swallowed Chibiusa's heart crystal, but she bacame Sailorsaturn after she destroyed Mistress Nine from within. In the process of destroying the big baddie of the S season, she sacrificed herself; however, somehow (Sailormoon using the Holy Grail?) she was able to be reborn again. Later on, Galaxia fast forwards Hotaru's age at the start of Stars to reawaken Saturn. Saturn only once attempted to unleash her powers in a massive attack called the Silence Glaive Surprise on Neherenia but Super Chibimoon knocked her over, pleading with her not to. If Saturn had finished the attack, she would have sacrificed herself in order to bring instant death to Neherenia. |
| MY OPINION |
 Sailorsaturn is so cool. ^_^ She's kind, sweet, and totally selfless. For as hard a deck of cards as she was dealt, she always appears so determined to play all the right ones to make life better for other people. I admire her strength for that. She even brought out some good in Chibiusa. Hehe, that makes me her best friend. ^_~ My only complaint is that she tends to be a little bit of a downer. -_- But with all she's been through, I suppose she's earned the right, so I won't complain too much. As for clothes, she, of all the senshi, had the best original fuku! Those petaled shoulders and that crystal star on her bow were so cool. Her lace-up, knee-high boots are awesome and totally unique. It's a crying shame such a masterpiece was traded out for the super-fuku. That's not to say the supur-fuku is bad; it's just so unoriginal since all of the senshi get them. Anyways, despite my complaints, Saturn is still one of the tops! ^_^ |
