I was born in Ljubljana on July 5, 1974. My parents settled in Medvode when I was a year old. In 1977, a new family member was introduced, that is my youngest brother Simon. My mother was going to name him Dominic, but I suggested naming him Simon. At the time, I had a friend Simon whom I played with. I do not recall much of my childhood memories, but only pictures and stories of what my parents have told me. I only remember myself as being a real adventurous lad who often came home covered with mud. As a kid, I also liked to catch some bombinas (they are little harmless brown and orange frogs) and brought them home and placed them in a big metal container. My first year of school was somewhat unpleasant for me. I was only 7 years old at the time and the teacher started to limit my freedom, but I was still blissful. In my early school years I never learned until I entered into the college years. It was then that I learned to become a good listener when classes where in session.

After attending primary school, I went to High School in Ljubljana and studied Commercial and Marketing. Since I had no goals as to what I wanted to do in life, I was forced to enter any school of my choice. My interests where different that time. In High School, I quickly changed and turned into a “bad-boy”. Many of my friends that came from a small town into a big city, it was then that we all started to partied, smoked and drank. My imaged changed drastically on a dark side. My favorite music was heavy metal. I also grew my hair long up to 60cm. Upon finishing High School I then began studying the world of art (Slovene and English) resembling philosophy. Within two years of College, I received a Bachelor Diploma in Law Administration.

My future is still not yet defined clearly. As much as I dislike studying, my mandate is to finish two more years of college and to become an Engineer in Law. I do like to start a family sometime in the near future, however, I still want to remain a bachelor and enjoy my life to the fullest.

Currently I am employed at the Municipality of Medvode, that is the Mayor’s office, department of Social Activities. I help employees solving computer technical and administrative problems. Though I do have two jobs, I enjoy my full time job which is located near my residence. Wages could be improved but I am not complaining since that living in Slovenia, the Government constantly freezes wages. Here are some basic status of the Municipality of Medvode, it consists of: 13570 citizens; 2,300 employed citizens in 423 enterprises; 72,91 square kilometers of land-surface; 3189 houses; 30 villages; 1 town; 4 schools; and 1 primary school. The translation of Medvode into English, is “between the waters.”

MUSIC TASTE

By now you may already have discovered that almost any picture on my web-site is linked with musical or sound file. It is so, that multimedia music through all those years of soundblaster upgrades has changed so much as the last version of golden soundblaster awe64, which I own, leaves me even more sound experiments in finest world of multimedia music. Click the clef (gif image) on your right and you will hear my favourite type of music...

What about my (favourite) musical history? In my childhood I liked country music and the '60: the king Elvis and the Beatles. In my high school years I gladly listened to hard tunes of heavy, thrash and only progressive death metal (the favourites: Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Manowar, Metallica and Death). During my college years I sailed to a more soft waters of hard rock and grunge (favourite bands: Aerosmith, Alice in Chains, Bon Jovi, Van Halen and Whitesnake). After that my music-hot young ears cooled to a level of instrumental hard rock (Joe Satriani and Yngwie Malmsteen), blues 'n' jazz (jazz: guitar or classical) and classical music (check my music home-page 'Ambrosia'). I still like to listen to all of those bands mentioned above and lots of other rock bands. In all those years I have never liked modern disco which is a disgrace to all music and is listened merely by teenagers (an era in human life with poor musical understanding). That hatred of mine, turned against dance music was always parting me from all the young people who all back then liked 'the so called techno'.

I guess I am the 'melodic' type of listener and thus could say that classical is currently my favourite music label. And the four greatest composers (with their chosen finest works):
- Johann Sebastian Bach (Suite no3 in D major - BWV1068= Air);
- Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Eine kleine Nachtmusik);
- Ludwig van Beethoven (Symphony no.5 in C moll);
- Piotr Ilich Tchaikowsky (Swanlake suite, Prelude to act 2).

Every woman is a goddess - a goddess of beauty...

I have never truly been in love so far. I still search for my goddess. That is why all my relationships were short. I have troubles with expressing my true feelings and I do not like too emotional relationships. I have not yet met a woman that I would be prepared to live with her until my eyes will close forever... My favourite types of women are two - depends of my desires. The first is passion attractive type of woman: long black hair, green eyes, white skin. The second beauty attractive type of woman: very long blond hair, gray or light brown eyes, beautiful face, sun-burned-brown skin.

If I combine those two types, a perfect looking woman should look similar to the one on the picture. Well step out of the cold stream, will you dearie? You can catch a cold! :)

A PAIR AND TWO OF FAVOURITE WHEELS

During my college times I have often dreamt of myself slowly riding a Harley (Softail it was) in through the desert in Nevada with my long hairs waving in the wind. My body and my soul: all free, all wild, all on my own. Now I prefer Road King. I can not afford any of those two bikes. With lots of saving I could buy Sportster, but I don't like it as much as Softail or Road King. Maybe when I am older and have more money I will be able to purchase myself that kind of Harley Davidson, but when old then I will fear for my health and not to catch a cold in my ol' bones.

My favourite cars are American. In car style I value luxury and bigger cars (possibly because I have a lot of trouble driving the European 'cans'): Dodge Caravan (as combined vehicle), Dodge Viper (as sports car), all sorts of Cadillac (as limusine), Grand Cherokee 4x4 (as jeep). But those cars are but a dream of mine. I currently own a 'can' called skoda Favorit - which really sucks. That's a truth. And a real sad one it is...

ACTIVE SPORT: BASKETBALL

Because of my height (when I was 14, I was 185cm tall) I liked to play basketball in my childhood and even now. Although my fragile physical condition and damaged back forced me to stop the training, I like to play in part-time league of my home-town Medvode. I formed a basketball team called Riverside, formed of all the basketball friends from my childhood and some who recently ended the 'training career' because of study. The future is ours!

I live in Slovenia, where basketball is the most popular sport. The famous team from Ljubljana is Olimpija - a team of young talents and the best 'defensive' coach in Europe - Zmago Sagadin (by my opinion). I think he was a key and only success as the team was third in the final four Rome '97.

Our national team is famous as well, but they are lacking luck in the european championship finals (the qualifications were never difficult for Slovenia). I guess Slovenia is a teritorial density of basketball talents - a country with only 2.000.000 people with so many excellent players.

Let me mention only few. The best two are: Marko Milic (Phoenix Suns) and Boris Gorenc (Chicago Bulls, free agent). The other are not so great: Teoman Alibegovic, Jure Zdovc, Radosav Nesterovic, Marko Tusek, Jaka Daneu, Ivica Jurkovic, Mario Kraljevic and many others... We can say that Slovenia is the smallest of basketball nations, but the greatest in basketball talents and I do not fear for the basketball future of our small nation as many, many young talents will rise up in the near and far future.

My favourite NBA team is Chicago (check: http://www.nba.com/bulls). The greatest of the Bulls is the best basketball player of all times: Michael 'Air' Jordan, that was my first and only basketball idol when I was about 14 years old and back then I was sure of success of this 'third draft pick shooting guard' and the no.23 jersey of the Chicago Bulls. The five championships won in seven years are a proof for my correct claims. I only hope he stays with the Bulls until the end of his professional basketball career.

I hope Michael will not retire after his sixth ring.

INACTIVE SPORT: FOOTBALL

Why do I like football so much to be my favourite sport even when I do not like to 'kick-off'? Someone may say: "What a boring sport." Well your eyes must really see it and enjoy the finest moments of this sport: technique of dribling, speed of running, preciseness of passes, strength of shots and roughness of tackling. I like fast football (lots of goalscoring chances) and technical football (attractive to watch). I do not have favourite 'club-level' team. I can say I always supported all of the F. A. - English teams (check them all out at Carling premiereship site: http://www.fa-premier.com/club/), specially bigger ones: Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United. My favourite nationwide division clubs are: Cardiff City, Preston North End and Reading. I could say I am mad about Arsenal and Gunners! I was hoping them to end the Man Utd reign and they did!

Check the right picture of the best striker and most effective goal-scorer in the world - Alan Shearer. You could be asking yourselves: "Why did he not put in Ronaldo?" He is a forward and not a striker - that's why - style of play between no9 and no10 in 4-4-2 system is different...

My favourite national team is England and I hope them to win 'a tour de France' this year. Let's go mates! you are capable of doing it more than ever before. A modern display of football in the last four years (by the strong discipline of coaches Venables and Hoddle) with lots of short passes and strong defence must bear fruit in this early summer world cup. What I have seen through the last four years (with Venables and Hoddle ahead of team), the title can be won. A great substitute for Alan Shearer can be Ian Wright - another fine striker - on the picture just celebrating the England's ticket to France. As Arsenal fan I was sad when he moved to West Ham this summer. My favourite all-star team line-up 1997 is (check the positions of numbers):

MOVIES

Well, here are the three - this year - oscar nominations:

I always adored old black'n'white horror movies, specially those directed by Alfred Hitchcock. Specially 'Night of the living dead' and 'A thing from another planet'. The favourite modern horror movies are but a few. The most I loved the last edition of 'Dracula' (was it in '93?).

I also like a good action. The filmed series of inspector Callaghan alias Clint Eastwood are one of my typical favourites in this sort of movie industry. One of my favourite actor is also Arnold Schwarzenegger as my best action/adventure movies are Conan Barbarian 1&2.

I can not tell about my favourite commedy as they are some laughy, some sleepy and some both. I must mention a commedy with English humor.

Mentioning humor; although I don't watch cartoons often, there is one which always draws my attention when I 'remote the channels' when looking TV - Cow and Chicken.

The only thing which I am conservative at it is food. In contrast of a lot of people of my age, I hate pizza. I prefer a good meal with soup, potatoe or spagetti or rice and a good piece of steak. One of the specialty I like the most is 'carpaccio' (some kind of raw beaf-meat - delicious). I hate all kinds of sallad! I love pancakes and eat a lot of sweets (my weak side - I can not live without 'em) - my favourite is a chocolate. Fastidious, aren't I?

As far as 'booze' is concerned I prefer the drinks suitable to weather or season. In the summer for example I drink a lot of bear (imported: Heineken and home: Union) and wine (only at various celebrations). On the other hand in 'winter drinking season' a good spirit is in order - a taste of excellent whisky (JD or CC) runs the cold out of my veins. In all romantic circumstances I love a glass or two of champagne shared with my belowed girl-friend (it does not have to be the finest - luv' flame burns every heart). I do not drink to get drunk, but to relieve my thirst or proposing a toast or tasting the quality of better drinks. I hate drunkness - that makes me violent. My favourite non-alchoholic drinks are: Sprite, ice-tea and 100% orange juice.
