我的小史
My Biography
一九六九年四月廿八日诞生于
马来西亚槟城。家境小康，上有父母、二姐，下有一妹。
祖籍广东开平。
I was born on 28th April 1969 in
Penang, Malaysia.I come from an average family and it consists of
my papa, mama and 3 sisters.
I am the 3rd daughter and my homeplace is Kaiping, Guangdong.
一九八一年毕业于槟城辅友小学
。
In the year 1981, I graduated from Hu Yew Seah Primary School.
随后升上
槟城槟华女子中学及槟城圣乔治女子中学，分别于一九八七和八九年修完高中及大学预科。
I was then admitted to
Penang Chinese Grils' High School andSt. George's Girls' School in Penang and
completed my high school and pre-university studies in 1987 and 1989 respectively.
次年顺利进入
马来西亚理科大学科技工艺学院攻读高分子聚合物工艺系。
于一九九四年大学本科毕业后，继续攻读研究生，
三年后考获硕士学位。
Immediately after that, I was off to the Polymer Technology Division,
School of Industrial Technology, Universiti Sains Malaysia, USM.
I obtained both B. Tech (Hons) and M.Sc in 1994 and 1997.
我目前在
新加坡南洋理工大学机械及制造工程学院攻读博士学位。
I am now pursuing my Ph.D in Manufacturing Engineering Division,
School of Mechanical and Production Engineering,
Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
我其实没有什么伟大的理想和抱负，
就只希望毕业后能继续留在校园里或教书或做研究工作。
当然，我更希望能够在课余的时间里，
重拾我荒废了多年的嗜好，
很想再好好的学学琴，
还有书法、绘画.......
哦，太多、太多了！
I have no ambition to succeed,
I just wish to stay in the campus after graduating,
no matter teaching or doing research work.
And of course, I hope that I could fully make use of my free time
to learn something that I've lost for years,
e.g., piano, Chinese calligraphy, painting, etc.....
我想我该是这个世界上最沉闷的人，
因为我基本上只喜欢听音乐，
不论是古典的、现代的、东方的或是西方的。
当然，我也喜欢听六、七十年代的英语老歌。
另外，我也喜欢收集一些琐琐碎碎，
但又有纪念性的杂物，
如书信、卡片、邮票等。
其实我也很喜欢旅行，
但去过的地方不多。
嗯，我还喜欢什么呢？
阿卢曾唤我为书虫，
现在映珏管我叫网虫，
可想而知网际网络已成了我的良伴，
它陪我渡过无数个晨昏，
我在网上阅报、读小说、听歌，
和家人、朋友聊天......
哦，一只无可救药的网虫！
I believed that I could be the most boring person on the earth.
This is because, basically, I just like to listen to music,
no matter classical, new age, eastern or western works,
and of course, I do enjoy listen to those English oldies too.
Besides, I like to collect those commemorative stuffs,
e.g., letters, cards, stamps, etc..
I also like travelling very much,
but I've only been to a few places so far.
Hmmmm....what else I like?
Yes, Lo called me bookworm last time,
but now, Yingjue call me networm.
It is understandable that the internet has became my best friend.
I spend most of my free time on the net,
reading newspaper and novel, listening to music,
chit-chatting with my folks and friends....
Oh, am I addicted to the net?
Ahahaha.....an incurable networm!
