Set List

Concert Review by Linda Holmes:

Another great concert with Kas looking stunning in a dark orange coloured shirt: He looked so good in the up-lighting! It was a much better audience too as they stood right from No Matter What.

During the acoustic set Meat Loaf sang More Than You Deserve which I never thought I’d hear him sing on stage. He preceded it with a story about the origins of the song (from a play when he first met Jim Steiman) and then acted out a letter from “Rabbit” when he was told that his wife had run off with someone else before he launched into the song.

For some reason they really cut down the ending of Rock’n’Roll Dreams which is such a shame as I love the seeing Kas, Damen, Ray and Meat Loaf standing at the front of the stage belting it out. Perhaps that song takes too much out of Meat Loaf as he certainly wallops the drums in it too

Concert Review by Donna Jacobs:

Another great show with Meat on top form.

Tonight’s crowd I thought were better than the previous night and got into it a bit more. In tonight’s show during Rock ‘n’ Roll Dreams Meat left John alone with his drums but decided to make Tom play the intro to Paradise a lot longer than he normally does. He did very well, he seems to be more and more confident as the tour progresses.

During the acoustic set Meat played More Than You Deserve from the musical including the beginning where his character "Rabbit" reads a letter from home. This was the first time I'd seen him perform this and really enjoyed it.

Again after Bat Out Of Hell they did the encore of Summertime Blues and Roll Over Beethoven. Meat had trouble with his mike stand and made a roadie come out on stage and hold it out for him!

Concert Review by Julie:

Meat apologised several times for having to cancel concerts and re-schedule others. The fans went wild and Meat got quite emotional.

At the N.E.C on 23rd March there was no encore after Bat Out Of Hell, but at Sheffield he came back to do three or four more songs. There were quite a few songs by other artists but the gang sang them brilliantly!

All in all I think the Sheffield concert was the best and we really enjoyed ourselves. I hope that we don't have to wait too long before they're back for yet another tour. We did have such a great time.

Never stop rocking!!
