Life Unrehearsed
Each play has its rehearsals,as...The actors learn their parts ...And
strive for that perfection which...Will warm the patrons’ hearts...And that is fortunate for
those...Who walk upon the stage...In their endeavors to perform... And act a certain age...But life itself is
something else... It is an instant play...With never one rehearsal for...The things we do or say...Except that
we can stop to think ...And so rehearse the mind...To keep the tongue from speaking words...Untruthful or
unkind...But otherwise on sudden deeds...We have to stand or fall...And only goodness
unrehearsed...Deserves a curtain call.
