MUDDY JUMPS

QUESTION: The dirt is muddy and when we pedal it slips and get no speed or tracktion. Also the bottom of the jump sinks in when we jump and we have to fix it every time and pack it down. The woods are narrow so we don't have alot of room to build jumps or places were it won't get fucked up. If you have got any ideas reply.

ANSWER: There isn't much you can do if the jump is constantly getting wet. I had the same problem. I solved it by getting different dirt. Some dirt just soaks up water and
doesn't dry. Eghmmm......you can place a thin flexible piece of plywood on the jump to keep it from caving in.
