Austrian Surfing Music
For those who would like to listen to some Real Audio while visiting Vienna Online, we present CL Florian's "Austrian Surfing Music." The second installment is a folk dance called "Orgelbayrischer" composed by the Austrian folk music pioneer Tobi Reiser and performed by the Tobi Reiser Ensemble, with Florian Keller at the organ.
The Tobi Reiser Ensemble is a famous Austrian folk music group that was featured in The Sound of Music movie. The original group consists of the following instruments: guitar, string bass, harp, zither, and dulcimer. Later, a little portable pipe organ was added, which you can hear in this piece. CL Florian is an active member of the ensemble since 1970 and takes part in many performances, live, on radio, TV and CDs.
