What's different about this month's issue?

Okay, this is a test. Does anyone notice anything different about this month's Vienna Online?

If you said yes, then you are an observant person. Indeed there are many things different about this issue, starting with the design and ending with the publishing frequency.

As the editor and chief designer of the front page, I've been planning for several months a change for the third year of operation. Not only did I want a change for the sake of change, but also to make it easier to build the front page for each edition. I had a basic picture that had been going around my head for several weeks, so when I finally sat down to do it, the only job was to make the picture work easily with the construction of the links. It's still no walk in the park, but it takes away the necessity of having to think too hard about what goes where.

Another change to the zine is the frequency of publication. We're moving to a bi-monthly routine, but not holding ourselves strictly to that. More precisely, we're going to come out with something at least every two months, but if we get a lot of stories finished and find that something needs to be publicized, we'll publish and send our subscribers news of the special edition, and go on about our business.

Some other changes you'll notice as you read the upcoming issues, almost all of them brought about by reader reactions to our efforts. We covet highly your opinions and will continue to strive to bring you what you want to read in the areas of classical music. Avail yourselves of our guestbook, our Konzerthaus Cafe message board, the email addresses you find at the end of our articles to let us know your feelings.

We are always looking for writers for our little zine. You do not have to have a homepage in GeoCities, or anywhere else for that matter. Just drop me a line at the email below to let me know what you've got.
