After arriving home from Chicago on Sunday nite,  I was supposed  to get tee time at Red Gate golf club the next morning.  I was awaken by the sound of my cell phone.  I answered "yo!"
It was Phong...he asked Do I supposed to turn Left on Rockville Pike?  I said Yup!.  Then he wanted to know  where I was....of course I told him that I was almost there...after I hung up the phone, I jumped out of bed and struggled to put my clothes on.  The starter gave me a 9:40 tee times which was too late for  Phong to play 18th holes.  He was supposed to play with his friend at another course....the guy is a golf fanatic.  However, they couldn't get tee time so he ended up playing 36 holes with me..

It was a typical start for me....a drive straight down the fairway then 3-putted for a boogy...dangit!!!   I played well the rest of the day and shot an 84.  Phong also played well...he was like a Boggy  machine.  The man was doing whole lot of fist pumping, screamming, yelling, and cursing...let just said...he was like  a vietnamese version of a Tiger Woods.

Since our games were on,  we decided to do another 18 holes but Red Gate was  having their tournament.  We ended up going to Needwood.  Whew!  We got on the course rite away....one of the lady behind us was bitching cuz she was having problem getting her equipments out of her car so we jumped infront of her.   Poor thing...she probably had to wait for another hour or so....survival of the fittest baby!

I scored a 39 on the front nine.  Not too shabby....I thought to myself...maybe I could break 80's...my game was good enough to do a little damage in this golf course today.  I parred 4 straight holes on the back nine.  Unbelievable...am actually had a chance to break 80's.  I said to myself...ok man...don't !@#$ up!  Just be patient and tried to be on in two.  By the time I got to the 16th hole...I realize that if I boogy the rest of the way...I will shoot in the 70's.  Holly cow!  I was pumped...as i walk to the  18th hole..my ball was behind the bunker...I thought to myself...don't screw up man....be smart and just pitch the ball way pass the bunker.  My heart nearly stopped when my ball landed just inches passed the bunker and rolled down to the green. I calmly 2 putted to complete my round of  78...YAHOO!  My first 70's.....eventhough it was only Needwood...i was still very happy.  Got both of my playing partners to sign my card.  How sweet it is!!!
