Name: Viperfish 

Description: The Viperfish is easily recognized by its huge mouth, fang-like teeth.

Fun Facts: Like many other species of deep-sea fishes, the Viper fish is known to vertically migrate. During the day they are found in deep water (500m - 2500m) but at night these fish swim up into shallower water (less than 600m depth) where food is more plentiful. The Viperfish is known to grow to over 30cm in length. It feeds mostly on crustaceans and small fishes.
