The Viking Ski Club

The Club

The Viking Ski Club, founded in 1929, is the oldest cross country ski club in Canada and has been a major influence in the development of cross country skiing in the Laurentians. The Club is managed on a volunteer basis by its members.

Clubhouse

We own and operate our own clubhouse located on Jackson Road just a few kilometers west of Morin Heights. The clubhouse provides these facilities:

• showers, changing rooms, and saunas
• pleasant lounge, sun deck, and waxing room
• dining room and fully equipped kitchen
• parking lot

Ski Trails

We maintain a network of over 40 kilometers of track-set touring trails over terrain of varying difficulty. Viking is also well known for its 15 kilometers of classic and skating racing trails. The start/finish area of the racing trails offers a warm-up and timing hut.

Programs

Our facilities provide an excellent environment for cross country skiers of all ages and abilities. We also run programs to serve members' interests:
