original singer Rune Bjelland was found by
Gerhard and Frode in late summer 1993 when they
were at a party of Ivar Bjornson. (Enslaved)

of the present
members of the band are atheists. Rune was very
interested in occult.

Hafrsfjord is in Norwegian because it´s a poem,
written several years ago by some geezer named
Torbjorn Hornklove, about when the first king of
Norway, Harald Hårfagre, gathered the land to
one reich. The English title is "The Battle
at Hafrsfjord". The tracklist says
Harfsfjord but it´s wrong.

have had a couple of other projects going on
beside of Einherjer. Everflow was the one
and Angelgrinder another. The projects are
more Black/Death oriented, much more brutal and
faster stuff than Einherjer.

former Einherjer
members: Rune Bjelland, Stein Sund and Audun Wold
are nowadays playing in a band called Thundra.
The band also contains the former drummer of
Enslaved.

nowadays producer Andy LaRocque is also known as
the guitarist of King Diamond. He plays one
guitar solo on Einherjer´s
"Doomfaring" song. |
