This next rhyme was a personal observation of the difference one person can make in a particular environment (and not necessarily always just a  physical difference).
The outside of someones dwelling or home can tell you alot about the people that live there. Everyone has experienced the one house in the neighborhood that is extremely unkept,or maybe just the opposite, immaculate and beautiful.  This particular backyard was much better than the immaculate and beautiful  because it possessed the rare quality of seeming to come alive as the person who kept it went to work in it each day. Kinda like Walt Disney's Tiki Room only not quite that extreme.  A Rare site and a wonderful one I felt lucky to share.  Enjoy.

Backyard Beauty

Asleep Awake, Awake Asleep
Before you know it , it's been a week.
It's a beautiful morning, but how would you know?
The windows are painted, outside could be snow!

The fish are blowing bubbles, waiting for some grub.
Nestor's waiting patiently for a milkbone and a rub.
The birds are flying back and forth and chirping all the way.
They like to eat before they bathe, is he getting up today?

The roses are a bloomin, as pretty as can be.
The yard could use some groomin,
Where could that Lawnmower be?

It's hard to be in such demand every place you go.
Sometimes you'd like to just kick back
and watch your favorite show.

But there you are when duty calls,
Your true nature it does show
and my heart grows fonder as I watch
the garden that you grow.

And oh your little backyard friends
who wait for you each day
Are happy when they see your face
Cuz "FOOD" is on it's way!

Your backyard is a wonder
everything so trim and neat.
And your little friends love you as much as I
You make our worlds Complete!!
