Franchise player with outstanding critical factors (height, weight, speed, competitiveness, potential, production).
7.5-7.9
Potential All-Pro material who will significantly upgrade the team.
7.0-7.4
Excellent prospect who has no weaknesses in the critical factors and will contribute to the team's upgrade.
6.5-6.9
Potential starter with at least above average critical factors and can play without abnormal effort.
6.0-6.4
Has talent and skills to start in time, but has inconsistencies in his play that could improve with refinement.
5.7-5.9
Backup type who could eventually start if he can improve with refinement and development.
5.4-5.6
Has average critical factors, but has some limitations that can not be improved upon.
5.0-5.3
Probable draftee, but has deficiencies in more than one critical factor that he will have a hard time overcoming.
4.7-4.9
Fringe player who may make the team, but has no real strong critical factors, except being at least above average in the factor of competitiveness.
4.5-4.6
Free agent that might get drafted, but he is deficient in more than one critical factor and shows limitations in securing a roster spot.
4.0-4.4
Camp player who has too many weaknesses in several critical factors to give much contribution.
3.5-3.9
Reject who is weak in all areas of his critical factors and is below average as a competitor.
2.5
Injury or off-field problem that needs monitoring for further evaluation.
2.0
Serious injury that will impact his chances for playing.
