Trunks and Pan leave their ship and wonder about the great power approaching them. Pan fears that it may have killed Goku, but Trunks won't believe that. Then, Goku comes flying in to warn them of the approaching power, and Pan tells him the Dragon Balls are gone.

Rirudo comes flying in, with a cloud of dust. He tells them that he couldn't believe Goku beat the Mega Cannon Sigma. Goku comments on the huge difference with his power, and gets excited. Trunks also says he's getting excited, and Pan recognizes him as General Rirudo. She gets pissed that he is the one that ordered Gill to betray them, and goes in to attack.

Pan gets in a couple of hits knocking Rirudo the ground, to the team's surprise. Trunks comments on how Pan is definitely Goku’s granddaughter. Pan tells him that of course she could do it, she's not a kid anymore. Trunks agrees saying that sometimes Pan is stronger than he is.

Pan's attention switches back to Rirudo. She tells him to surrender and to hand over the Dragon Balls. Rirudo refuses and gets up unscathed. He tells them that the Dragon Balls are part of Dr. Myuu's plans to conquer the galaxy. He tells them that the machine mutants are the best race in the universe.

Goku understands, and disagrees that they are the best race. Rirudo says he'll prove it and fires a beam at Pan. Trunks knocks her out of the way, and takes the shot, which encases him in a metal slab (think Han Solo). Pan goes to him, but it disappears.

They ask Rirudo what happened, followed with Pan punching him again. This time, however, it had absolutely no effect, and Rirudo knocks her away. He tells them that Trunks has been transmitted to Dr. Myuu as a marionette. Pan doesn't understand, and Goku thinks it's like teleporting and asks where. Rirudo tells him he's back in the tower, where he will be sent to Dr. Myuu.

Pan rushes to the tower to save Trunks. Rirudo says it's too late and fires his beam at Goku, which he dodges. He fires a few more times, hitting the ground, trees, and the spaceship. Rirudo comments on his great reflexes and tells him that he'll have to stop his movements first. Goku agrees cause he doesn't want to keep dodging that one attack.

Pan reaches the tower and blasts her way in. Alarms go off indicating an intruder.

Back outside, the battle rages on between Goku and Rirudo.

Back at the tower, a battalion of robots confronts Pan. She takes them all out quite quickly. One robot survived and tries to crawl away. Pan grabs it by its tail and asks it where Trunks is...

(Commercial Break)

The battle between Goku and Rirudo continues. Goku manages to knock Rirudo into a wall and Rirudo fires his arm at Goku. Goku says he's never seen that before, Rirudo apologies, and his arm returns right back at Goku. At the last second, its fist opens up to grab Goku, and takes him through the city (literally). The arm returns to Rirudo still holding Goku, and Rirudo laughs. So does Goku and he unleashes a series of point blank shots until Rirudo lets go. Rirudo tells him that he would make a great machine mutant. Goku wonders if he'll look like Gill, Rirudo tells him that he'll just have to see, and Goku refuses. The battle resumes...

Back at the tower, Gill and some other robots monitor Trunks' marionette. Pan walks in, just as Trunks is teleported away. Pan then confronts Gill, and the room’s defenses activate. The room starts distorting and Pan winds up outside the entrance of the tower.

On another planet, Dr. Myuu is delighted about receiving the Trunks marionette. He hopes Rirudo gets the others soon.

Back on M2, Goku fires multiple blasts around Rirudo. Rirudo thinks he's blind just as the rocks come tumbling down on him. Rirudo powers up to get out of that, and has lost Goku. Then, Goku fires a Kamehameha, which hits him dead on. He wonders if he got him, says he's not that easy, and finds Rirudo behind him.

Rirudo suffered some minor damage. Goku claims he won’t escape the kamehameha again. Then, we notice some lumps moving along some pipes on the ground. Rirudo sees this, and we notice the Nezy phase out from a pipe.

Rirudo and Goku both go back down to the ground. Then, liquid metal grab Goku, and form into the Mega Cannon Sigma. Rirudo thinks he's won, and Goku goes Super Saiyan. That pushes Rirudo back, and turns the Mega Cannon Sigma into tiny little pieces.

Rirudo looks and understands that Goku was only fighting at half power, and Goku thinks that Rirudo did the same thing too. Goku doesn't want to play anymore and wants to see his full power.

Rirudo complies, and powers up. That causes tornado, which brings back the pieces of the Mega Cannon Sigma. The pieces attach on and integrate themselves into Rirudo. After the tornado subsides, he calls himself Hyper Mega Rirudo, and the battle begins again...
