The arc of energy tears through the ground, but does not go far before disappearing into thin air. Where it disappeared a crack in space appears, and it crackles with energy. Goku starts to walk toward it while carrying Midori.
Midori: Heehee! Did I scare you? Hummm... I have "other needs" that has to be taken care of... Bye bye!
They step through the rift and disappears as it closes. The echos of the laughing girl start again, but soon fades to silence.
Chi Chi: Damn you... (breaks down crying) Bring back my GOKU!!!!
Gohan: Okaa-san...
Gohan and Goten stand by her.
Goten: Don't worry, we'll get dad back!
Bulma: But we got to plan some sort of strategy first. You guys got your asses kicked badly.
Vegeta: Shut up woman! I won't lose to Kakarotto!
Bulma: Riiight...
Trunks: I think all we have to do is separate Goku from the girl. If we defeat her, Goku will probably return to normal.
Bulma: Wait, all we need to do is return Goku to normal right? Let's have Shenlon do that!
Vegeta: Again with that dragon... Just let me beat some sense back into Kakarotto!
The others just walk pass him and start flying off, Chi Chi and Bulma get a ride of course. Vegeta kicks to ground a bit then flies off right behind them.
They all arrive at Capsule Corp, and enter the building.
Bulma: The Dragon Radar should be in the workshop!
Piccolo, Vegeta, Goten, and Trunks hang back while Bulma, Chi Chi, and Gohan go to retrieve the radar. Some time passes, then Piccolo and Vegeta sense something and heads towards the workshop, Goten and Trunks follow.
Meanwhile, as Bulma, Chi Chi, and Gohan approach the workshop, they see the door has been left a little open. As they get closer, they see the room inside has been ransacked. They open the door slowing and see Midori crouching on the floor with the Dragon Radar in hand, and Goku stands behind her.
Midori: Oooo... So this is the Dragon Radar... So pretty...
Chi Chi: Go...
Goku turns his head towards them and looks with blank eyes. Midori is playing with the button on the Dragon Radar. Goku puts a hand on her shoulder and with his other hand, places two fingers on his forehead, and they disappear.
Chi Chi: (falls to her knees) GOKU!!!!!
Gohan: Okaa-san... (comforts her)
Piccolo, Vegeta, and company arrive to the scene.
Vegeta: Where is she!?
Bulma: Calm down. They're gone now... And she took the Dragon Radar.
Piccolo: What!?
Vegeta: Hehe... (cracks his knuckles and starts to leave)
Bulma: Hold it right there mister! You know you're no match for him!
Vegeta: Like hell I'm not! (Vegeta stops leaving though)
Trunks: What we need is a plan.
Bulma: Come on. Let's discuss this in the war room.
Trunks: We have a war room?
In a semi-dark room with bright lights illuminating over only certain areas, they all sit around a circular table.
Bulma: (sipping tea) I never thought I'd actually get to use this room...
Vegeta: We're not here to admire the room!
Bulma: Hmm... You're right. Let's review the information we have.
A screen is lowered, and the room is darkened.
Bulma: Early this morning, I encounted a little girl with a strange knife.
A picture of the girl with the knife appears on the screen.
Vegeta: Hey! Where did that picture come from?
Bulma: The projector.
Vegeta: I know that. I mean who took it!
Bulma: Oh my whole life is recorded.
Vegeta: It's what?
Bulma: Recorded. A little drawback to being the daughter of the world renouned Dr. Briefs. (takes another sip of tea)
Everyone is silent, some of them start looking around a bit for the hidden cameras.
Bulma: Anyways. When Vegeta came, she got away.
Vegeta: Are you implying it was my fault!?
Bulma: So after that...
Trunks: After that me and Goten found her.
Goten: Ummm...
Trunks: But she was no longer a kid.
Goten: Uhhh...
Bulma: Goten... Do you have something to say?
Goten: Umm, no, I'm ok.
Bulma: O..k... Please continue Trunks.
Trunks: Well, shortly after, Piccolo-san and Gohan-san arrived.
Gohan: Me and Piccolo confronted her, but she was really fast, and emitted a weird energy.
Goten: Oh wait, I have something to say. She called herself Midori and she had the softest... Um, never mind.
They all give Goten a funny look.
Gohan: Anyways, she got away from us too.
Bulma: Now we come to the part where we all catch Goku and this Midori together. (picture on screen changes to on of Goku and Midori)
Chi Chi: Don't say it like that!
Bulma: Well, somehow Goku fell under the spell of Midori's and is now obeying her every command.
Chi Chi: Wait a minute... Goku was acting kinda funny this morning... He just took off without eating...
Bulma: So that's when he went to that secret randezvous!
Chi Chi: Stop saying it like that!
Bulma: (sips more tea) So Goku wasn't satisfied at home...
Gohan is holding Chi Chi back, barely.
Bulma: I'm kidding! I'm kidding!
Chi Chi: How can you be so calm at a time like this?
Bulma: Well, when the world's been threatened so many times, you just have to learn to relax. I don't want to get old and wrinkly.
Chi Chi: Grrr...
Bulma: More tea?
Gohan: Ummm, let's just get back to the story.
Bulma: Right, so anyways, Goku kicked all your asses then came here and took the Dragon Radar.
The lights are turned back on, and Midori is seen sitting in one of the seats drinking the tea by holding the cup with both hands. Goku is standing just behind her, and the crystal blade lies on the table.
