At the castle in Viseria... Decon and Baal walks down a great hall with armored guards lined up on both sides. They enter a door into a library/laboratory/workshop... Many books line the shelves... Vials of potions lie on the table... Various trinkets lie on the floor...
Decon: Lytos!
A greying middle age man in a lab coat shows up.
Lytos: Yes my lord?
Decon: How goes your progress?
Lytos: Excellent! I've deciphered most of the texts... It won't be long before we break the seal!
Decon: Hehehehe... MWAHAHAHA!!! Soon, the world will tremble before my power!
At the house of Shade and company...
Shade: I'm off!
Kari: And where are you going?
Shade: Out.
Kari: Where? What about work?
Shade: Ummm... I need to do some special training! And we can get by missing one day of work...

Shade: Why don't you just get those two to help?

Suddenly, an uproar up ahead...
Merchant: Thief! Somebody stop him!
A man comes running down the street through the crowd... As the man passes Kari, she gets a serious look on her face... She swings around and strikes the guy with the back of her fist knocking him down... Just before he hits the ground he is sent sliding back and hits a wall.
Kari: (to Tia) Thanks!
The man stands back up again and pulls out a knife.
Thief: Damn you...
Souka: What's going on?
Thief: Die!
Souka gives him an evil stare, then many tiny explosions pepper all around the man... Then then faints and falls to the ground.
Souka: So what's going on?
Kari: Ummm... Nothing... You did really well!
Souka smiles.
Random Merchant: They caught him!
Merchant 2: They're so strong!
Merchant 3: And cute too!
More random comments as a crowd surrounds and swarms the trio... Above the crowd on a roof, a guy watches...
Guy: Hmmm... Looks like I found her... I wonder where "he" is...
At the castle... Gust, with katanas drawn, treads carefully across a room... He closes his eyes, then starts running between some stone pillars... Then he starts slicing them down one by one...
Gust: Hmph... I'm bored...
Saedo appears from the shadows...
Saedo: Then I have some good news! The rebels are moving again... Our lord has ordered us to eliminate them...
Gust: Rebels again... They just seem to get stronger every time we face them...
Saedo: (with a smirk) Yes they do...
Gust sheathes his katanas and leaves with Saedo.
Back at the market... The trio carries trinkets, Souka also licks on some goo on a stick.
Souka: Mmm... This is good! Want some?
Waves it around in front of Kari and Tia's faces.
Kari: Uhh... No thanks.
Tia reels back and shakes her head a bit.
Souka: Ok... (goes back to suck on it)
Kari: Those merchants were certainly generous...
Souka: MM!
Suddenly, an explosion is heard from a distance... All three turn to look in that direction... They see a winged creature fly right over them...
Kari: What is that!?
The creature dives into a crowded area, and starts a rampage.
Kari: Shi... oot! Stay here!
Kari runs off. Then she notices Souka following her.
Kari: What are you doing here? I thought I told you to stay back there!
Souka: No way! This looks fun!
Kari: (sighs) Hey, where's Tia?
Souka: I dunno... Back there I guess...
Kari: You left her there?
Souka: She'll be fine. She can take care of herself for a little bit.
Kari: If you say so...
Up ahead, the see a big winged creature, demon like, with claws, tail, and a thick skin... It's attacking some people, but encounters a barrier... Among the people, Tia hovers in front...
Kari: Tia? When did... How did...
At this moment, Tia is knocked down to the ground...
Souka: Bastard!
Souka leap at him firing energy blasts at the creature... The shots hit, but the creature is unfazed... It turns around slowly and looks at Souka... Then with one swipe, the creature knocks Souka away.
Kari: Damnit!
She pulls out Jegen and poised to strike.
Kari: Souka! Tia! Are you two all right?
Souka and Tia slowly stand back up...
Kari: (towards the creature) What are you... Where did you come from?
The creature snarls and charges at Kari... It swipes its claws at her, but she jumps back dodging them... Kari then charges back thrusting Jegen towards the creature. But the creature catches Jegen using one hand and holds on to it.
Kari: Damn...
She pulls but unable to loosen its grip... With a yell, Kari pulls out the inner blade leaving the shell in the creature's hand. Kari then dashes forward and slices at the creature's arm and finishes by stabbing him in the chest. But the blade does not penetrate the skin...
Kari: Sh...
The creature backhands Kari away, then throws the shell of Jegen to the side...
Kari: Owie...
The creature stands over Kari...
Kari: Eep...
Souka: Kari!!!
The creature and Kari turn and sees Souka and Tia off to the side... Souka holds both hand in front of him, Tia stans behind holding his shoulders and starts to glow... Kari quickly scrambles out of the way and Souka fires a large energy beam at the creature. It hits the creature sending him crashing into a wall...
Kari: Thanks you two!
Souka: Heehee... (big smile)
Kari reattaches Jegen together... Then, something moves from within the rubble... The creature emerges and roars.
Kari: Why don't you just stay down?
Kari aims and fires the shell of Jegen at the creature and it hits dead on in the forehead. The creature collapses.
Souka: Wow! That was really cool!
Kari: Really? You think so? (smiles)
Suddenly, the creature stands back up again, a wound on his head starts to regenerate...
Kari: Damn... What will it take...
Kari, Souka, and Tia start to back away... The creature lunges at them, but then a figure zips underneath it, and an arm separates from his body... The creature yells in pain, Shade stands nearby with Infinity drawn...
Shade: Hi guys! How was your day?
Kari & Souka: Shade!
Shade: (turning towards the creature) Hmmm... Thick hide... Regenerative abilities... Looks like you need to be cut into little pieces with something very sharp...
The creature roars and lunges at Shade... But he swings around underneath to dodge then slices off a leg on the follow through. The creature falls to the ground...
Shade: It's over!
Shade swings down and slices the creature's head off...
Shade: That oughta do it...
Souka: Wow! So strong...
Shade: Heh, you guys weakened him for me...
Kari: Damn right we did! But that was still impressive... Your training must have really paid off.
Shade: Training? What training? Oh that training! Yea the training reall helped!
Kari: Hmmm... (eyes Shade suspicisiously)
Shade: Hehehe... So! Where did this thing come from anyways?
Kari: No idea. But...
Male Voice: I know where it came from.
The guy who was watching Kari and company earlier now stands before them.
