Shade and Bolt are in a standoff... Raiden crackles with electricity... Infinity, unsheated, glows faintly... Kari, Souka, and Tia stand a distance away behind Shade...
Shade: Ready for the beat down?
Bolt: Prepare to be fried!
Kari: Enough with the stupid bantering and get on with it! Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight! Don't make me come there!
Bolt: She's scary...
Shade: And I live with her...
Bolt: Ok... Let's get this show started!
Bolt rushes towards Shade and swipes at him with Raiden. Shade blocks with Infinity, but the electricity starts travelling down the blade... He swipes upwards to push Raiden and Bolt back. Shade then holds Infinity in one hand, pointing the blade towards the ground... It crackles with electricity...
Bolt: Interesting... Energy absorbing properties...
Shade: And that's not all...
Shade grips Infinity with both hands again, and swings it horizontally in front... An arc of energy appears, crackling with electricity, and flies straight towards Bolt.
Bolt: Whoa!
Bolt leaps out of the way to dodge as it explodes behind him.
Bolt: Very good!
Shade: I'm glad you enjoyed it...
Shade swings Infinity a few times releasing more energy arcs at Bolt. Bolt scrambles out of the way on all fours as they explode all around.
Shade: Little cockroach! Just stay still!
Shade rushes in towards Bolt and swipes at him... Bolt jumps back to dodge the first strike... Shade continues the assault forcing Bolt to start parrying the attacks with Raiden. Shade switches to one hand and attacks with in a wide arc striking Raiden... Sparks start to fly everywhere... The two weapons are locked...
Bolt: Pretty good... But there's no way you can beat me!
The electricity increases around Raiden... Lightning sparks start to shoot from Raiden and go into the ground... Shade grips tighter on to Infinity trying to fight it...
Bolt: Surrender! You won't last much longer like this anyways...
Shade: Shut the hell up!
Shade headbutts Bolt knocking him back.
Bolt: Owwww... You bastard!
Shade: Suck it up!
Shade starts firing energy arcs at Bolt again.
Bolt: Not this time!
Bolt points Raiden towards the energy arcs and electrical sparks fly out in all directions... The energy arcs are deflected to the sides and explode...
Bolt: Ha! You've got nothing now!
Shade turns Infinity around and fires a small energy ball... It hits Bolt right in the face.
Bolt: What the...
Shade: You were saying?
Bolt: It's time for me to use my ultimate attack!
Bolt holds Raiden up in the air... From the handle the "blade" part starts to slide upwards revealing exact same type of blade underneath... This sxtends Raiden's length to double what it was...
Shade: Hmph... So it's longer...
Shade swings Infinity releasing another energy arc towards Bolt...
Bolt: Don't you have anything new?
Bolt points Raiden at the approaching arc, and fires a lightning bolt at it, dispersing the energy arc...
Bolt: You're finished! Ball Lightning!
Bolt points Raiden straight up into the air... Electicity starts to flow up the blade and collects into a ball just above... Bolt then swings Raiden at Shade releasing the ball of lightning towards him...
Shade: Oh sh...
Shade leaps out of the way to dodge it as it explodes into the ground...
Shade: Whew... That was close...
Bolt: Let's see you dodge this! Ball Lightning!
Shade: Oh yea? Arc Saber!
Shade swipes upwards firing the arc saber towards the ball lightning... They collide exploding in a great flash of light... After the light subsides, Shade and Bolt stand apart, staring at each other...
Bolt: (breathing heavily) Not bad... Not bad at all...
Shade: (also breathing heavily) You ain't seen nothing yet...
Shade points Infinity right at Bolt...
Shade: Shadow Light!
Bolt: Shadow Light? Isn't that a contradiction?
Infinity glows in a reddish light... It pulsates, and moments later, Bolt's arm recieves a small cut.
Bolt: What the...
Shade: Consider that a warning shot... The next one won't just leave a scratch.
Bolt: What... What just happened...
Shade: Surrender!
Bolt: Never!
Shade: Hmph... Then experience the power of my Shadow Light!
Infinity pulsates again, but Bolt jumps to the side to dodge.
Bolt: Ha! Just an invisible attack! Nothing special... I'll just deflect it like your other attack!
Bolt hold Raiden in front and electrical sparks increase all around it...
Shade: Oh really?
Infinity pulsates and something hits Raiden hard...
Bolt: What the... Oh shi...
Bolt starts running as the ground behind him explodes again and again as Shade attacks...
Bolt: I won't be beaten so easily! Ball Lightning!
The lightning ball flies towards Shade...
Shade: Shadow light!
Infinity pulsates, and invisible things are striking into the ball of lightning slowly dispersing it...
Bolt: Shadow Light huh? Wait a minute!
Bolt notices the shadows of spikes along the ground being emitted by Infinity...
Bolt: Shadows huh...
Shade: Heh... Arc Saber!
Bolt: Ball Lightning!
The two attacks collide and nullify each other in a flash of light.
Bolt: This stalemate is getting boring...
From the light Shade bursts through and swipes at Bolt with Infinity... Bolt blocks his attack with Raiden...
Shade: Grrr... Huh? (notices something)
Shade jumps back, then sheathes Infinity back into it's metallic rod form...
Bolt: What's the matter? Giving up?
Shade: Not by a long shot...
Shade steps into an attack stance...
Bolt: So be it...
Bolt holds Raiden high into the air... Electricity starts collecting in a ball just above it...
Bolt: Ball Lightning!
Shade: Heh.
Shade rushes in towards Bolt and swipes at him with the sheathed Infinity... Bolt parries the attack then Shade jumps back...
Bolt: Useless.
Bolt goes back to preparing the Ball Lightning...
Shade: Was it?
Bolt: Huh?
Bolt looks up and sees Raiden cracking...
Bolt: Impossible...
Shade: Hehe... Not so smart are you? One good whack at that stick of yours is all it'll take to destroy it...
Bolt: NOOOO!!!
Raiden cracks completely in half... The ball of lightning falls to the ground and explodes in front of Bolt.
Shade: And that's that...
As the smoke clears, Bolt still stands, with the broken Raiden in hand...
Bolt: I don't think so.
Shade: Just give up... You don't stand a chance any more... Your weapon is destroyed...
Bolt: And you'll pay for that...
Bolt throws the remnants of Raiden away...
Shade: Don't make me laugh...
Bolt's gloves start to glow faintly...
Shade: What the...
Lines of light start to appear on both gloves in various patterns...
Bolt: You're finished!
Bolt rushes at Shade with his fists... Shade jumps back to dodge, and Bolt strikes the ground, which explodes blowing up dirt and dust... As the dust settles a large crater sits where Bolt had punched...
Shade: Whoa... That was close...
Bolt gives an angry stare at Shade... Then he leaps towards Shade and starts punching away, which each powers through the air creating small shockwaves... Shade ducks and weaves, dodging all the punches.
Shade: You're gonna have to do a lot better than that!
Bolt: Grrrr... HAAAAA!!!
Bolt punches forcing Shade to use Infinity as a shield... Shade slides back along the ground, but remains on his feet...
Shade: Whoa... That was close...
Bolt flies towards Shade to punch him... Shade unsheathes Infinity and swings it fowards creating the Arc Saber just as Bolt punches stopping him in his tracks.
Bolt: No...
The glove starts to throw sparks, then fizzles out.
Shade: Your toys are sure easy to break...
Bolt: Damn you!
Shade: Do you still want to continue? Or will you surrender?
Bolt arms are down, and with head down, he does not respond. Shade leaves with Kari, Souka, an Tia as they celebrate his victory.
Later that day, at their home...
Kari: Uhhh... Shade... That Bolt guy is outside.
Shade: Just tell him to go away.
Kari: I think he's putting up a tent.
Shade: What!? He better not be marking his territory!
They go out to look.
Bolt: I still have unfinished business with you! I shall have my revenge! MWAHAHAHAHA!!!!
The door is slam shut, Bolt is left alone. A cold wind blows...
