Nick Sutton

Midfield

This 'veteran' of the club provides our much needed 'bite' in midfield, as well as having the distinguished job of making sure everyone turns up on Saturday. Most used tactical plan: Work Harder - Player's rep

Steve Harvey

Centre half

Steve, the gentle giant of the Es, commands the air at the back in a similar way to those Rapier missile things in the Falklands. Don't let his quiet demeanour fool you, he has once been booked.

Dave Human

Centre half

Dave commands the defence in a manner belying his stature, often we hear the shrill cry of "DAVE'S" before the terrified opponent crumples to the ground, and the obligatory free kick is awarded.

Ben Bevins

Anywhere he wants!

Team manager & Haring down the right flank like a young whippet, Ben also lends his expertise and efforts to organising the side, and manages to score more goals as a full back than as a forward…

Matt Kendall

Forward

Due to youthful enthusiasm and a shortage of real strikers, Matt has developed into a real attacking threat - with some of his more ill advised shots providing very useful assists to surprised team mates to receive and finish.

Graeme Jackson

Right wing back

Left wing back

Mild mannered Graeme returns from a years treatment in the Priory clinic to lead some of our attacking forays down the right hand side, unfortunately no one seems to have told him about the defending part of a wing backs role.

Will Palin

Still trying to work it out

A new boy to Village, Will has blended in effortlessly to the Bourgeois Village 'E' atmosphere, and has been let off his somewhat spurious claims to being a student.

John Millard

Centre midfield

A true pro to the last, John brings his experience and positional sense to any position asked of him, he takes time from his meteorological duties to lend 'Steel' to the midfield.

Andy Bradley

Goalkeeper

Fighting off claims of a Grobbelaar-esque match fixing scandal, Andy continues to wow the punters of Deep Pan Pizza with his creations and wow opposing players with his generous distribution.

Shaun McKenzie

Sweeper

In a tragic twist of fate, Shaun was born with two left feet, and his defensive headers brought visions of Penfold (sans glasses) in the sweeper role. Shaun was a figurehead for the Es, supporting all with useful chat at the back. Shaun has now sadly retired from the game, we hope he can continue to advise us from the touchline.

Chris Todd

Midfield

Toddy is another Village veteran of many years standing and Village's own crime fighting hero, complete with mask and leathers (when arriving on his bike),

Matt Green

Midfield

This Potteries hero made the multimillion-pound move to the Es last season, adding the extra dimension of someone actually physically fit to the team, let's hope the hawks in the higher teams don't pay to much attention to this.

Phil Newlands

Forward

Our top scorer, who hides some devastating pace, Phil's touch shows a man that has played at a decent level in the past, quite when remains a mystery…

Steve Hale

Forward

Will he ever play again is the question. Not that we really care - team captain
