"The Terrapins played rude hosts as they handed us our first loss of the season. Maryland was ranked second in the East. Having Maryland's entire roster there at the match, and none of them in the downtown Chinese Restaurant spelled doom for us, as we really couldn't get anything going, although we played them tough, and seemed content to do just that. Maryland kept us off balance with 'Shang's serving mystique', as our passes weren't consistent for the first time in recent memory. We ran into a smart team that plays well within their capabilities."
