2/10: Navy 2, Millersville 0 At University of Maryland (29-27, 25-19) John's Commentary: "The first game was very well-played as there were 127 lead changes in the first game alone. We almost won, in fact, we were declared the winner until our sexy middle blocker called his own touch, and we ended up dropping the game. That's pretty good for not having been to church since Christmas Eve. The second game we got down by a few points early, and didn't really feel like fighting back it seemed, so we just kind of let Navy win. They ended up taking second place in the tournament; good job. Navy has a pretty good team. Overall we played pretty well and against some (mostly) good competition, and we should really use today as a springboard for the next few weeks. Special thanks to Duston and Woody for keeping me awake on the ride home, since I was the driving. Someday I'll be able to share some stories too. Yeah, when I'm 30." |
