September 20, 1958 York, PA York Suburban HS You name it, I done it (mostly science, engineering, and volleyball) 1979: ASCS Penn State York; 1986: BSEE, Penn State; Fall 2001: MSCS - Penn State Harrisburg 6'1" Head Coach While coaching at Penn State York - winning a come-from-behind five-set match over York College in front of 400 screaming fans at York College and winning the 1997 MACVC West Division title. While coaching York College - going undefeated through the #4 pool at Maryland on the first day of the 1999 NIRSA Nationals. Also, defeating Millersville to win the 2000 MACVC West Division title (couldn't resist rubbing that in). While coaching Millersville - the best is yet to come. But so far, the 'A' team going undefeated at Ship this Fall, sweeping West Chester, SusQ, and Messiah, and then defeating Kings in the finals (and the 'B' team sweeping Juniata in the playoffs and taking Kings to 24-26 in the quarters). Coaching, rock climbing, mountain biking, trail running, racquetball, juggling, quoting Monty Python ad nauseum, sleep deprivation, and basically just trying to squeeze as much out of life as possible. Enigma, Peter Buffett, David Arkenstone, Andreas Vollenweider, early Earth, Wind, and Fire, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, classic rock, jazz and new age, Pink Floyd, Alan Parsons, the 80's in general... Sandy (wife), Alex (Mollucan Cockatoo, AKA slashing beak o'death), Sahara and Katanga (African Greys), Cricket (big black purring fur ball that roams aimlessly around the house, holding down most of the horizontal surfaces). |
