Elevator buckets may be made of mild steel, Corten, stainless steel such as 304 or 316, abrasion resistant steel, Hasteloy or in some instances combinations of these or others. Buckets may also have certain areas hard surfaced with various types of material. These buckets and additions are priced on request. |

This 8” x 5” continuous type bucket elevator was originally designed to stand without guy wires or side supports. The narrow sides are 15” channels, and with the 1-1/2” thick base plate it could safely endure 125 mph. winds against the broad side. The elevator was approximately 60 feet overall height with a self supporting work platform at the head. |
