Josefa Wears a Bustle

Elegant visiting dress as appeared on La Mode Illustrée, 1885

This model is as elegant as complex to be constructed.
That was the point with ladies' fashions in the 1880s.
Josefa feels so much proud descending from her carriage dressed like this!
No matters she is only 17" tall.
Everynone admires her wearing her silk and linen overskirted-blue-and-brown-dress,
embroidered reticule and cape. Of course that such a pretencious silhouette
is enhanced by an intriguing bustle and a well-boned corset worn underneath.
