Rafaela Red Visiting Dress

Fine visiting dress "Rafael style" as appeared on Godey's Lady's Book, 1859

Rafaela wears an astonishing outfit and the red color
matches perfectly her delicate looks. The bodice is made
of charmeuse silk and Chinese brocade, while her dress
is of organza and her cape is of elastic velvet. With this bold style,
she had to put on her muslin undersleeves and a puffed chemisette.
Although she's just 17" tall, isn't she beautiful?
Her undergarments and costume are historically correct miniatures.
