January 29, 2002:

Enron was a Giant Enery Company (America's seventh highest corporation) that virtually collapsed overnight, triggering one of the biggest corporation scandal in the USA. Many questions arise about this bankruptcy and one of them focuses on Eron's link with the Bush's administration. Enron was a major contributor to the Republican Party (and to a lot of democrats as well). Enron's executives met about 5 times last year with Dick Cheney, in the Vice-President's "Enery Task Force", which shaped Bush's energy plan. At issue is how much Enron influenced Bush's energy plan, which eases environmental rules, opens public land to drilling and provides tax incentives to energy companies. Was it actually a reward given to Enron for his generous support before and during the presidential campaign?
