After the sept11 events, hundreds of people were arrested and investigated, some suspected to have ties with Al Qaeda. Investigators were anxious to get informations to prevent any further attack, that's understandable. The " Denver Post" title was: "Frustrated investigators suggest torture to get suspects to talk". ...So much for the "Western civilisation" values.
