Twenty-five years have gone since Pearl Street was first paved with bricks and converted into a pedestrian mall. Pearl Street is a "people magnet", due to a wide variety of shopping, restaurants, street performers, magnificent weather, and great views. Recently, the firefighters had to fight the "Wonderland Lake" fire that started on the foothills very close to Boulder.
